Wrist Bandage

What is a wrist bandage?

A wrist bandage is a type of bandage that you put on as one. The bandage is then wrapped around the wrist and thumb. In some cases, the bandage is even wrapped around the palm for another part.

How does it work?

A wrist bandage prevents the wrist joint from making certain movements. This ensures that the muscles in the wrist get more rest than usual. In this way, the symptoms recover faster.

When should a wrist bandage be worn?

You only wear a wrist bandage when you actually experience the symptoms. In most cases, this is during work or household chores. After all, this involves using your hands and wrist a lot. At times when you have no complaints, we therefore recommend not wearing the bandage.

What is the difference between a wrist brace and a bandage?

A wrist brace is made of harder material. This means that the wrist joint is even more prevented from making certain movements. A wrist brace is therefore for more severe complaints. Do you have a fairly severe to severe complaint? Then we recommend wearing a wrist brace.
