Shower Chair
What is a shower chair?
The name actually says it all. You can use this chair for support and safety while taking a shower. The regular shower stool has rubber anti-slip studs at the bottom of the chair legs. This will improve the grip the chair has in a humid environment and wet, slippery tile floors. Besides the studs, the shower stool also has handles, this will allow you to hold on tight when you're going to sit or stand up. The shower stool is adjustable in height. This will enable pretty much everyone to use the shower stool.
When should you use a shower chair?
When you have difficulty standing for long periods of time and still want to fully enjoy a shower, using a shower stool is highly recommended. The shower chair is often used by older people. Yet, using a shower chair is also highly recommended after surgery. But pregnant women and women who have just given birth can also greatly benefit from showering with the help of a chair.
Why a shower chair?
When showering while standing is no longer possible (properly) and you need help with this. With the help of a shower stool, you will be able to maintain your personal hygiene for longer. If, for example, you have difficulty walking, (long) standing showers can be too tiring for you. A shower seat then provides excellent support.
