Bauerfeind ManuLoc Wrist Support Long Plus is a long hand orthosis with removable finger support. It immobilises parts of the forearm, wrist and second to fifth fingers. Only the thumb remains freely movable through a large opening in the orthosis. Three anatomically pre-shaped aluminium bars relieve the wrist in daily activities. The bars also stabilise the forearm proportionally and reliably limit the hand's extension, flexion, and rotation movements. The wide finger support is adjustable and immobilises the palm and fingers. You can also remove the finger rest if needed. This complete immobilisation of the hand up to the thumb gives maximum protection against improper loading, and supports the healing process.
The ManuLoc long Plus has four large Velcro closures that can be opened completely. This allows the orthosis to be pulled on and off easily. This type of construction is particularly airy and at the same time practical for the entire therapy, including wound monitoring and physiotherapy exercises.

Fitting
The Bauerfeind ManuLoc Wrist Orthosis Long is available in sizes 0 - 3. For the correct size, it is considered to measure the circumference of the wrist. (See illustration and size chart).
The brace is universal and therefore suitable for both left and right wrists. There is no need to choose a side.
